Prep: 15 minutes - Grill: 20 minutes - Serves: 4

INGREDIENTS

  • 2/3       cup mayonnaise
  • 1            tablespoon white vinegar
  • 2            teaspoons prepared horseradish
  • 2            teaspoons spicy brown mustard
  • 1            teaspoon hot sauce
  • 3/4       teaspoon  garlic powder
  • 3/4       teaspoon salt
  • 3/4       teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4       teaspoon paprika
  • 8            bone-in chicken drumsticks and/or thighs (about 3 1/4 pounds)
  •                Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

DIRECTIONS

1. Prepare outdoor grill for direct grilling over medium-high heat. In medium bowl, stir mayonnaise, vinegar, horseradish, mustard, hot sauce, garlic powder, 1/4 teaspoon each salt and black pepper, and paprika; transfer 2 tablespoons to small bowl. Makes about 3/4 cup.

2. Sprinkle chicken with remaining 1/2 teaspoon each salt and pepper. Place chicken on hot grill rack; cover and cook 20 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°, brushing with BBQ sauce and turning frequently. Transfer chicken to rimmed baking pan; spoon reserved BBQ sauce over chicken and garnish with parsley, if desired.
